Benjamin Thomas Bailey 1893 - 1918

Benjamin Bailey was born September 1892, Hagley Lugwardine to Benjamin  and Harriet Bailey.  The address for Benjamin was the Butcher's shop Hagley Lugwardine, Herefordshire.  Benjamin was baptised in Lugwardine.  

He married Rose Harrison Allsop  in September 1913.  Her parents were William Allsop and Margaret Buckland. 

Benjamin and Rose had one child Iris Bailey, who was born 22 May 1914. Iris died in 1997.  She herself had a son, Conrad CB Pearce.

Benjamin served with the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, 14th Battalion.  He was killed 27 September 1918.  His Service Number was 48205.  He is buried at Gouzeaucourt New British Cemetery





She married George Edward Pearce born 19.06.1910 in Bridgend Glamorgan Wales and died Mar 1970 in Hereford
