Hubert Ernest Emerson 1882-1917

Hubert was born at Hemhill, Lugwardine, Herefordshire in 1882 to Frederick and Alice Emerson.

He  married to Lorena Frances Emerson in 1913 .  He was a groom gardener living at the Old Vicarage Lugwardine.  His parents had 12 children- 6 of whom had died.

Brothers: Ambrose, Archer and Jasper

Sisters: Florence, Mary R. Ethel M, Violet, Janet (Rose Cottage??).  

His address was Rowland House Lugwardine, Herefordshire.

He died of his wounds. M2/045563, 175th Mechanical Transport Coy., Army Service Corps on 13 June 1917.  He is buried Aubigny Communal Cemetery, Departement du Pas-de-Calais, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.

Hubert was 34 years of age when he died.
