Jasper Horace Emerson. 1893-1917

Jasper Horace Emerson was born in 1893 in Lugwardine, Herefordshire to Frederick and Alice Emerson. The family lived at Rowland House, Lugwardine. 

Like his brother that was also killed in the war he was a bell ringer at St Peter's Lugwardine.

He joined the Worcestershire Regiment 1st Battalion

M2/045563, 175th Mechanical Transport Coy., Army Service Corps.

He  died on 13 June 1917 Age 34. 

His epitaph is “Never Forgotten” Mother and sisters - at Vermelles British cemetery, France.

Jasper was 24 years of age when he was killed.
